Select your theme, picking out your decorations and tableware accordingly. We’ve opted for Sparkle.
3. To add a personal touch, create bespoke handwritten place names for each of your guests. We’ve used Mercury Card Holders to perfectly set them off.
What’s your favourite festive song?
“I’ve collected festive records since I was a kid. I suppose my favourite song would be a toss up between Mel Torme’s The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting…) and That’s What I Want For Christmas – I heard Nancy Wilson sing it and thought it summed up Christmas perfectly.”
Do you have any family Christmas traditions?
“Christmas begins with a match to the wood burner, Christmas tree lights on, Christmas music on (usually Ella Fitzgerald or Bing Crosby), a bottle of bubbles opened, a dip into the sweet tin, fighting over the flat penny toffee, all before opening all the presents together.”
What’s your favourite Christmas memory?
“When our son was a little boy, we spent hours one Christmas Eve creating a magical Winter wonderland under the dining table. For this you will need 1 x white sheets, a couple of duvets, and string after string of fairy lights. It took hours, but the look on his face when he saw it was worth every minute.”
Do you prefer spending Christmas home or away?
“Being a Taurus, I would say Christmas at home without question.”
What’s top of your list from our Christmas collection?
“I am loving the Beaded Garland and Beaded Placemats and Silver Beaded Coasters. Christmas dinner is a big part of the day, and a great-looking table somehow makes the food taste even better.”
