A change in season calls for a refresh. It’s time to put away the outdoor furniture and introduce rustic centrepieces, comforting layers and candles in abundance. While days are getting shorter and colder, there are still so many things to look forward to…
1. Decorate with nature
Crisp countryside walks, fiery amber leaves and games of conkers… Autumn shows our natural surroundings in a new and beautiful light. Spend quality time with the family, head outside and gather dried foliage and acorns to create stunning seasonal centrepieces for your home. Arrange your foraged goodies in hurricane lanterns and vases, and place them on coffee tables and mantelpieces to celebrate the great outdoors.
2. Introduce warm textures
Layers are key when it comes to keeping yourself, your family and your home cosy during colder periods. From faux fur and wool to chunky knits, adding tactile pieces instantly creates a comforting ambience. Layer your bed with our woven Wilby Throw & Cushion Cover or adorn your sofa with our statement Mottled Sheepskin Cushion. And don’t forget to place our large seagrass basket by the fireplace for logs, or as simple storage in your bedroom. The warm tones of the natural seagrass brighten any space.
3. Light candles in multiples
Style candles in groups on your coffee table, console, mantelpiece or fireplace to create an atmospheric glow. If you are able to light a fire, it’s a lovely addition, while those without a fireplace can replicate the feeling. Our Autumn Collection, combines fruity notes of pear, quince and apricot with musk and amber, and includes a Large Candle, Signature Candle and Botanical Pillar Candle. Alternatively, opt for our limited-edition candles in silvered glass holders to create a magical flicker.
