Not sure what to do with the kids this February half-term? Take inspiration from their favourite things (and our signature prints) with these entertaining activities to keep them occupied.
Up and away
For aspiring future pilots, nothing could be more special than a day at an aviation museum. With plenty of places to choose from, up and down the country, little ones will love seeing these giant machines up close. For an extra-special touch, treat them to a plane-motif jumper to wear on the day.
A day at the zoo
Delight animal lovers with a day of marvelling at lions, tigers, bears and more. Dress toddlers in our panda-, giraffe- and elephant-print pieces to tie in with the outing, and make sure older children have one of our super-snuggly toys on hand – they’re the perfect companions for when they meet the real thing.
For budding gardeners
If you’re looking for something closer to home, why not take little ones outside and let them help in the garden. Carrots, parsnips and radishes are all perfect for planting in February – plus, they’ll have fun harvesting them later in the year. Make sure they keep snug in a cosy gilet and jumper and comfy knitted leggings.
Holding a mini flower-arranging masterclass is another great outdoor-based activity. Go foraging for Spring’s first wildflower blooms, and then help them arrange their finds in a beautiful vase. Kit them out in practical-yet-cute dungarees, or continue the floral theme with a tulip-print dress.
Is there any better activity for young adventurers than a ramble through the woods? The mixture of fresh air and exercise will only be a good thing (and help them put that excess energy to good use). Don’t be put off by a bit of drizzle, either. Our rainy-play jackets will stop the weather from dampening the fun – and they’ll love splashing in the puddles!
