Top sightseeing spots for half-term
1. One of the most iconic bridges in the world, Tower Bridge is bursting with history. The recent addition of a glass walkway and modern exhibitions make it the perfect blend of past and present, educational and fun. Just make sure no one is scared of heights.
2. Show the kids what London has to offer in terms of green space. Fly a kite in Regents Park or feed the ducks in Hyde Park. If you get caught in the rain, shelter under a leafy tree or grab a drink in one of the many park cafés.
3. Equestrian aficionados, or those in search of a little pomp and pageantry, should visit Horse Guards Parade. Catch the guards and horses in action at 11am daily (or 10am on Sundays).
