Choose (and wrap) gifts and write your cards
Practical tip: Avoid pre-Christmas panic buying and think like our founder, Chrissie, who swears by choosing (and wrapping) all of her gifts before December begins – freeing up precious weeks to savour the rest of the festivities.
Festive fun: Make writing cards feel less of a chore by setting up a cosy station, complete with a creamy coffee, festive music and our captivating White Christmas fragrance burning in the background. The same principle applies to wrapping presents, too: why not flex your creative muscles and hand-craft tags and ties with twine, sprigs and pine cones?

Shop and bake (what you can)
Practical tip: If you’re hosting a houseful this Christmas, now is the time to ensure you have enough sleep (and seating) solutions to accommodate them. You can order from our beautiful furniture collection in time for Christmas until midnight on 27th November.
Festive fun: It might seem premature, but baking – then freezing – an array of delicious desserts and canapés now will save you the stress later. Think sweet: chocolate truffles, Christmas cake, and biscuits all freeze particularly well, ready to serve with a few hours’ notice for impromptu drop-ins.

Time for the tree
Practical tip: Let the decorating commence! Decide your theme, then buy your tree. More authentic than ever before, our faux styles look realistic and utterly beautiful in your living room or hallway. Next, get your decorations down from the loft or discover new favourites in our range of baubles, wreaths and garlands (choose from our three Christmas tree looks).
Festive fun: Pop on a classic Christmas playlist and let the whole family contribute to creating a wonderful display. Little ones will love sipping gingerbread hot chocolate to refuel (and you can enjoy a mulled wine, or two). Discover easy decorating ideas for an elegant, festive home from Chrissie here.

Menu musing and carol singing
Practical tip: Plan your menu. By now, you should (hopefully) know your guest headcount, so whether you’re cooking for a couple or a crowd, map out all drinks, canapés, starters, the main event and an array of desserts, delegating if need be.
Festive fun: Keep an eye out for a local carol service – they’re a wonderful way to feel instantly festive and soak up the Christmas spirit.
2 weeks to go
Practical tip: Transform the spare room(s) into a cosy guest retreat two weeks beforehand – it will alleviate any Christmas Eve panic and allow for any last-minute arrivals. Discover how to make every bed instantly cosy with our easy guide.
Festive fun: Build your very own bar area for the festive season – best enjoyed with guests for a drinks party. Simply add a champagne ice bucket, plates of nibbles and your favourite cocktails and watch guests flock to the table.
